Dear Politicians,

Congratulations on your win yesterday. Please pay attention: I don't care if your red, blue, yellow, purple or green. You were voted into this office. You do know the pendulum swings both ways. If you do not do what is best for the people you represent, you will be voted out in 2-4 years. Here's my advice:

  • Don't call anyone names. We are all people. I don't care if you're liberal, conservative, media elite, joe plumber, whatever. IT DOESN'T MATTER. People don't need to be labeled, all it does is divide everyone.
  • You were elected to do a job, DO IT. Don't bicker with people who don't have the same beliefs as you. Don't put barriers in the way of getting the job done. Don't stall just to prove a point.
  • SHUT UP AND DO YOUR JOB. Yes, you won and that means your opponent lost. Move on... we are putting our trust in you (whether we voted for you or not) to have our best interests in mind when you lead the country. Please don't let us down.
  • Remember that 2 years ago, the country was all excited about the prospects of change. We obviously didn't feel that our elected officials did their job and many now don't have their jobs. The same thing can happen in 2 years if we don't like what you're doing.
  • Don't bitch and moan that you don't have a big enough majority to get things done. If you all weren't a bunch of horses asses, you could figure out how to get things done. I mean all of you - red, blue, green, purple, yellow, coffee drinkers, tea drinkers, whatever. Stop being so full of yourself and DO YOUR DAMN JOB.
Do you get it yet? DO YOUR JOB. The economy of this country sucks, our education system sucks - PLEASE FIX IT NOW!! That's all we ask. Really, just figure out how to work together (all of you) and do what is best for the people of this country.

One last note to all the crazy media people: You can shut up now, too. We're tired of your analysis. Please stop talking. ALL OF YOU!

Do you all have any advice to add to our wonderful leaders?

OK, back to our regularly scheduled healthy lives. Thanks for reading.
